Event Duration:
October 9th, 10th & 11th, 2009 (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) - Event will start at 8am and end at dusk on all days. The actual flying days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. During each day, the event will make it's official start at 8:00 am PDT. Event closure will be at 6:00pm PDT daily. Before 8am and after 6pm, the field will resume normal operating procedures at which point any helicopter flying will be done at the green circle - see Event Layout.

RV Parking
Thursday night through Sunday at dusk(October 9-12, 2009). There are no hookups but let us know if you are in dire need of a generator. We might be able to hook you up. Please see our Location Page - Event Layout for the locations of RV parking at the event.

Food Vendor Availability:
October, 10th & 11th, 2008 (Saturday/Sunday) - Food vendors will be available Saturday and Sunday (October 10th-11th, 2009)

Noontime Demos:
October 10th, 2009 (Saturday) - Come watch "Dab" Harvard MC the greatest feature of the event - The spectacular Noontime demos! Demos will be held on the usual funfly day, Saturday. Noontime Demos will be for one hour only. During this time the main area of the field will be closed. The south end of the field may be available for flying - please see event coordinators for final restrictions. Visit see our Featured Pilots page for further details on this category. Event Contests:
October 10th, 2008 (Saturday) - LA3D will be holding it's first ever novice 3D contest. All non-sponsored pilots are qualified  to join. The event supports a light hearted competitive spirit but also serves as a pilot for a new quantitative RC Heli 3D judging system. The Judging system will be based on a set of common maneuvers as well as synchronization to music. We ask that you either bring your own music or you may choose to "wing it" and fly with our music. Event contests will be held on the South end of the field. Please see our Contest Page for further details on this category

Prize Raffles:
October 10th 2009 (Saturday/Sunday) - You simply won't believe the amount of prizes and give-aways we have this year. We've had extremely good luck with Vendor participation as the LA 3D staff has done a remarkable job getting everyone involved! Don't miss your chance to win some serious goodies! Raffles will be held at center-stage of the pilot pits in the afternoon of each day.

The annual Pilots Dinner:
October 10th, 2009 (Saturday Night - Approx 6:30pm-8pm) - Another dutch dinner at one of the finest nearby establishments - Springbok... We will all meet at our local favorite restaurant Springbok for delicious food & drink!

October 10th, 2009 (Saturday Night - Approx 8:30pm-9:30pm [may be concurrent with night flying]) - Come watch yourself on the big screen! Projector, screen and good fun will be supplied - can you believe it? We'll even spring for the popcorn with our new popcorn stand!.

Night Flying:
October 9th-10th, 20089 (Friday & Saturday Night - Approx 8:30pm - midnite) - Both Friday night and shortly after the Saturday night movie, we will be hosting night flys on both days (Friday & Saturday) so bring your night gear and strut your stuff. The ambience of night flying is awesome and this year's pilot participation in both night flys is going to be one to remember!
