Pilots!  Bring yourself, bring friends, family, kids, bring a heli and fly in this year's Los Angeles 3D helicopter Fun Fly.  There are some things you should know about this year's event.  Like always you will need to be a member of AMA to participate during the 3 days and 2 nights of flying. We have put a lot into this year's funfly to make a great event for everyone. You simply won't want to miss this one!

The Rundown 

 This years event will include a few things.  Here they are:

  • 3 FULL DAYS OF FLYING
  • Pilot Raffles Each Day
  • Manufacturers and Vendors on Site. (check the sponsors for a list)
  • Multiple High AMP DC Power Day Charging Stations
  • Multiple DC Power Night Charging Stations
  • 110V Generated Power on Location
  • Night Flying Friday and Saturday with a Pilots Dinner before Saturday's Night Fly Party.
  • Motor home Camping Available (no Hookups)
  • Tent Camping in Grass Available
  • Main 600 Ft+ Runway for Aircraft
  • Park flying Area with Hard Packed Dirt Runway and Grass Landing (must meet AMA park fly specifications)
  • Large and Small Helicopter Areas
  • Free Parking
  • Spectators welcomed
  • Registration Only $25 All Weekend Flying

The actual flying days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Staff setup may include a later portion of Thursday but will not affect normal field operations. 

The Who

Who are we inviting to this event?  Everyone, however we are targeting the West Coast states as a matter of geographical convenience.  We would like to see a large and fun event here on the west coast and our facility can provide a venue that can grow year after year.  So come on out and enjoy a memorable event with the LA3D Fun Fly!
